 Characteristics of Pumice

Pumice is a porous rock that formed as a result of volcanic activity.  It is lightweight, has an abrasive texture, and can even float on water until it becames saturated with liquid. Because of these characteristics it is often used in making lightweight concrete, in landscaping products, and even in a plethora of industrial and consumer applications.
